Scary Lighting for Scarier Ghost Stories

Step into, and out of, the shadows at The Guild for a hands-on workshop on the art of ominous stage lighting. 

This series will explore how to use light (and shadow) to amplify tension, build dread and bring scary stories to life!

Over the course of three sessions, participants will learn about lighting operations and design, and contribute to the lighting for ‘Ghost Stories Round Back’

Sessions will cover both design and operations.

This workshop is being presented by Pivot Theatre in collaboration with the Guild and storytelling artist Jaime Mellott.

There is no cost to participate!

Schedule: 

Tuesday October 13th - Lighting operations and intro to design. 

Tuesday October 20th - Design in focus. 

Sunday October 25th - Lighting hang and focus. 

Tuesday October 27th - Tech run and adjustments. 

Thursday and Friday October 29th and 30th - Shows Round Back (strike following the show on the 30th)
