Pivot Theatre is excited to welcome PACT and PACT members to Whitehorse in April 2026. It’s a time of change in the territory as the river ice begins to flow and the lakes thin and open. The light is back, and the snow remains.
This is a hands-on summer position working alongside Pivot’s Artistic Director Jacob Zimmer and Managing Artistic Producer Norah Paton to plan, coordinate, and deliver our summer outreach and Community Puppets programming. You’ll help build and animate giant puppets, work on simple carpentry projects, coordinate logistics for outdoor events, and connect with Whitehorse residents and visitors – from families at the farmers’ market to elders in continuing care homes. If you’re curious, adaptable, and excited about community arts and light carpentry, this is a role for you!
The staff and Board of Directors of Nakai Theatre are proud to announce a historic change. Effective November 20th, 2025, the organization will be known as Pivot Theatre, or Pivot for short.
